Builders can take advantage of early possession clause where the purchaser is entitled to possession of the lot as from the date of the contract for the purpose of erecting a dwelling.

The contract is usually completed on or before 180 days from the date of the contract.

The margin scheme applies to the purchase and the developer will provide a tax invoice stating the gst that the builder may claim back.
